A fund in the West disclosed it is committing to alternative credit, China A-Shares, venture capital fund-of-funds, venture capital and opportunistic fund managers at its board meeting this week.

The plan approved a new 4% target to the asset class last year.

The plan made its initial investment in private credit after approving the asset class last year.

Plan will conduct an RFP for multi-asset credit managers later this year as the result of asset allocation changes that also include a maiden private debt target approved at today’s board meeting.

The plan made commitments to one new manager and existing managers.

He supports all aspects of the decision-making process of the private credit team, including sourcing, structuring, performing due diligence and negotiating investment opportunities.
