The global manager has finalized the second close of its fund targeting sustainably managed forestlands globally with approximately $335 million in commitments.

The pair of commitments are subject to approval from the full board later this month.

The pension plan’s cio recently approved three commitments totaling $350 million.
The plans previously agreed to move their active domestic large-cap growth equity asset class to a passive mandate in December.
The search will not include the plan’s two incumbent firms.
The pension plan first issued an RFP seeking one or two separate account managers to establish emerging manager programs for real assets and real estate in January 2023.
